A few tips for building one that actually lands:
- Mix easy questions (favorite movie) with specific ones (what I said the first time we met) — the contrast is what makes it fun.
- Use multiple choice for the funny stuff, and short answer for anything you actually want a real answer to.
- Include at least one question with a wrong answer only an inside joke would explain.
- Keep it to 8-12 questions — long enough to be substantial, short enough to actually finish.
- Don't make every question a test of memory — leave room for one or two that are just sweet.
