This policy explains what information Couple Quiz collects when you play, create, or share a quiz, and how that information is used.
You can take any shared quiz without signing up. To make the two-person pairing and match-scoring mechanic work, we assign your browser a random, anonymous session identifier as soon as you arrive — it has no name, email, or contact details attached to it.
That anonymous session is what links your answers to a shared result page. If you never create an account, we have no way to connect it back to you personally.
Signing up (email and password) attaches your email address to your existing anonymous session, so the quizzes and results you already have carry over. We store your email, a securely hashed password, and the quizzes, answers, and results tied to your account.
Quiz content you create (titles, questions, answer options); your answers when you take a quiz; aggregate play counts; and, if you sign up, your email address. We do not ask for or store payment details, government ID, or physical addresses.
We use a small number of essential cookies to keep your session working across pages (for example, remembering which anonymous or signed-in session belongs to you). We do not use cookies to track you across other websites.
Couple Quiz may display ads served through Google AdSense and similar advertising partners on quiz landing pages, category pages, and blog pages — never inside the quiz-taking flow itself. These partners may use cookies or device identifiers to show relevant ads; you can control ad personalization through Google's own Ads Settings.
We use Supabase to host our database and authentication, and Vercel to host the website. Both process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
User-created quizzes are checked against our content policy before they're publicly listed, in line with our Terms of Service.
You can play entirely as a guest and avoid attaching any personal information to your session. If you've signed up, you can contact us to request deletion of your account and associated data.
